Cathryn lamb, LPC
My passion for supporting children and families has fueled my work for over 15 years. Each family is a unique system and each system requires a unique approach. My career began by working intensely with high-risk adolescents. While it was/is a beautiful process, I couldn’t ignore the repeated message of how important it is to support the family as a whole. Thus, my desire shifted to providing space for families to navigate through life’s challenges and tribulations together. This can be achieved in a myriad of ways and I’m here to offer guidance as warranted.
People often inquire about my “theoretical orientation” and I generally respond “I’m eclectic”, which to me is a fancy ways of saying I am a compilation of many things. I utilize my schooling, professional development and experience, and life as a human to inform my approach. While we are all different, we are all much the same, and I am no better or worse than any other. Sometimes it takes a village to tackle life’s challenges and I’m honored to be considered part of your village, for a time.
Currently, I offer therapy for youth, regardless of gender or profile, in conjunction with parent coaching to support the family as a whole. My scope of practice includes a myriad of mental health struggles and attachment issues.
Additionally, I am passionate about supporting humans in their grieving process. We all experience grief and we all need one another to navigate our way back to balance. Grief is not something we “get over” or work to stop experiencing (that’s not going to happen). Instead, we learn how to ride the waves of joy and sorry life brings us, so we are not taken captive by circumstances outside our control.
Creating a safe place for healing is largely dependent upon feeling safe, feeling seen and feeling supported. Establishing this supportive environment is my upmost priority, regardless of whether you come for grief work or parent coaching or to address any number of life’s challenges. The ability to create a strong therapeutic relationship and a client’s willingness to engage in this process are two primary factors used to determine if we are a good fit. If it turns out we are not, I am happy to refer you to those who can give you what you need.
Thanks for reading a little about me and I look forward to hearing a bit about you.

Ryan Reese, phd
My name is Ryan Reese and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Bend, Oregon. After completing my B.S. at Western Washington University I went on to complete my masters degree in School Counseling & Guidance with an additional emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida. I completed my PhD at UNC-Greensboro in Counseling & Counselor Education. In addition to my LPC, I maintain credentials as a Licensed School Counselor (Oregon), National Certified Counselor, EMDR-certified therapist, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. I also received a certificate in psilocybin assisted therapy from Fluence. At EcoWellness, I take a harm reduction approach in helping clients explore and make meaning of their psychedelic experiences.
A big piece of my growth and healing has occurred through immersing and exploring rivers and the natural landscapes that surround them. My change was also facilitated through the people in my life who supported and challenged me to grow. These experiences and relationships inspired me to become a professional counselor and later develop the EcoWellness counseling approach. I have a therapy dog, Bristol. She is a hypoallergenic, 25-pound labradoodle, and she may join us from time to time if you or your loved one might benefit from her presence.
